Terms of Service
Effective July 15, 2026
These Terms govern your use of the ploro app and ploro.app (“ploro,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using ploro, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use ploro
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian’s permission. You are responsible for your account and for keeping access to your email secure — sign-in links go there.
2. The service
ploro rewards real-world attendance: verified check-ins at stadiums and partner locations, badges, Rank Points, trivia, quests, leaderboards, and social features. Features may change, and we can’t guarantee any particular game, venue, quest, or reward will always be available or that game data (schedules, scores, results) is always accurate.
3. Points, badges, and rewards
- Rank Points (RP), XP, badges, and similar items are virtual — they have no monetary value, can’t be sold or transferred, and aren’t redeemable for cash.
- We may adjust, rebalance, or correct point values, badges, and rewards (including removing points awarded in error or through abuse).
- Any redemptions, sponsor offers, or promotions may carry their own additional terms and availability limits.
4. Location features and safety
Check-ins require your device location, and in-venue features use your location while you’re at the venue (see the Privacy Policy). Stay aware of your surroundings — don’t use ploro in a way that distracts you in crowds, on stairs, or anywhere unsafe, and always follow venue rules. Spoofing or falsifying your location to earn rewards is prohibited.
5. Your content
You own what you post — photos, captions, comments, messages. You give us a license to host and display that content within ploro so the service works (feeds, profiles, crews). You’re responsible for what you post, and you must have the right to share it.
6. Community rules
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. Don’t post or do anything that:
- harasses, threatens, or bullies anyone, or is hateful or discriminatory;
- is sexually explicit, graphically violent, or exploits minors in any way;
- is illegal, promotes illegal activity, or infringes someone’s rights;
- impersonates others, spams, scams, or spreads malware;
- cheats — fake check-ins, location spoofing, automation, or exploiting bugs for rewards.
You can report any post, comment, message, or account in the app, and block users so you never see their content. We review reports, remove content that breaks these rules, and may suspend or terminate accounts — immediately and without notice for serious violations. 7. Sponsors and partners
ploro includes sponsored content (like sponsor trivia) and partner locations. Sponsors don’t receive your personal information (see the Privacy Policy), and their products and offers are their own responsibility.
8. Disclaimers
ploro is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that check-in verification, game data, or rewards will always work perfectly.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ploro will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for anything that happens at a venue. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to $100 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is greater.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using ploro anytime and delete your account in the app (Profile → Settings → Account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (content licenses for already-shared aggregate data, disclaimers, liability limits) survive termination.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
12. Changes
If we materially change these Terms, we’ll update the effective date and notify you in the app. Continuing to use ploro after changes take effect means you accept them.
